"Everyday low prices" and "home grown" product tags highlight the Lucky's philosophy across all departments.

This view looks across the food bars toward the Natural Living area. Food bars and pizza are among new endeavors for Sharon.
The staffed cheese counter is a bigger feature and commitment in the larger Lucky's location.
Sharon says Lucky's wants to bring back the art of the butcher.

The Longmont location allowed Lucky's to expand its bulk section by 60 bins.

The local ethos also weaves through the beer and wine department.
Sharon say the community market strives "to act in the spirit of the environment."
Lucky's features case packs as part of its merchandising and to offer transparency. “If you want to see the farmer, read our boxes,” owner Bo Sharon said.
Lucky's Market opened a second location in Longmont, Colo., on Aug. 14, 2013. The store is about twice the size of the 10-year-old Boulder store, which does extend outside of the grocery with a nearby bakehouse and creamery, and cafe.
The produce department starts outside of an entrance and features a chile roaster.
The checkout lights become sculpture by integrating natural sodas.
Lucky's Market emphasizes affordability throughout the store. Sharon noted Colorado peaches as a pricing example. Lucky's posted price is $1.49 a pound compared with $2.99 elsewhere.
