Longtime natural retailer in Virginia passes away

Chester Bradford "Brad" Eisold, co-owner of Cool Spring Organics Market and Cafe in Lexington, Va., died March 15. A memorial gathering will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 7, at the store.

The following was posted to the Cool Spring's Facebook page:

"Hello to all dear friends and patrons of Cool Spring. We are sad to share with you the passing of Brad Eisold, co-owner of Cool Spring.

"His unexpected and very sudden death leaves us all a little speechless and very sad. We are doing our best to walk through this one day at a time...

"Selena and her family send their thanks for all the calls, messages, offerings of flowers and food, and want you to know they are overwhelmed by the goodwill and love of our community."
