Climate change affects us all. But few industries face as many climate consequences as the natural and organic products industry, which revolves around the stuff of soil, precipitation, temperature and seasons—otherwise known as agriculture.
At the same time, this industry offers myriad pathways for climate mitigation through foundational industry movements such as organic and regenerative agriculture, sustainable packaging and much more. Climate Day at Natural Products Expo West takes place 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, in the Marriott Marquis Ballroom. But the show also devotes important programming to the environment, climate and sustainability beyond Climate Day.
