Paul Bennett, co-owner of Harvest Moon Natural Foods in Olathe, Kan., died June 10, 2013.
The company posted this announcement on its Facebook page:
It is with the deepest regret and the heaviest of hearts we inform you that Paul Bennett passed away Monday, June 10th. Paul and his wife Susan opened Harvest Moon Natural Foods in 1994. A visitation will be held Wednesday June 12 at The Church of Resurrection Wesley Chapel in Leawood from 6:30 – 8 PM. The funeral service will be Friday, June 14 at 9:30 AM at D.W. Newcomer's Sons, 11200 Metcalf in Overland Park.
He was an active natural products retailer who spent many years serving on the then-named National Nutritional Foods Association. He was president for four years.
