Just read this article on how eating at home helps weight loss, this one in the New York Times, courtesy of The Biggest Loser participants. I especially liked this quote from Devin Alexander (who wrote a wonderful healthy-breakfast story for Delicious Living a while back): “Twenty minutes in the kitchen will save you three hours on the StairMaster” said Devin Alexander, a chef in Los Angeles who developed the recipes for the [Biggest Loser] cookbooks. “You can’t trust restaurant food to be low fat.”
