Experts' diet rankings: Mediterranean at top, keto near the bottom

If you follow the U.S. News and World Report's annual list of best diets, you won't be surprised to find the Mediterranean, DASH and flexitarian eating plans continue to rank high. But of the 35 diets the magazine's experts evaluated, the keto diet ranked 34th in best diets overall, last in best diets for healthy eating and tied for 32nd in easiest diets to follow. Trump plan to curb teen vaping protects multi-billion dollar e-cigarette market

In an attempt to restrict vaping among teenagers without destroying the e-cigarette industry, health officials will ban a limited number of popular vaping flavors, President Donald Trump's administration announced Thursday. Flavors such as fruit, candy and mint will be prohibited, but menthol and tobacco-flavored products continue to be allowed. In addition, tank-based vaping devices will be exempt from the flavor restrictions. The new rules fall far short of Trump's original plan to ban all flavors of vaping products. Read more at AP News

Trump administration says it will approve largest U.S. solar farm

A new solar farm that would include energy storage via lithium-ion batteries is likely to receive federal approval. The farm, set northeast of Las Vegas, Nevada, will cost about $1 billion, cover 7,100 acres and generate 690 megawatts—about 19% more than the country's currently operation largest solar farm, located in Southern California. New Jersey cider orchard offers former inmates jobs, re-entry assistance

A former advertising agency owner founded Ironbound Farm near Newark, New Jersey, to launch a new brand of hard cider and, at the same time, support the area's underserved population of former inmates.
