In an effort to elevate the "cool" status of beets, Brussels sprouts, bell peppers and the like, Bolthouse Farms is taking taking the internet's "food porn" obsession to the next level. Building on the Food Porn Index it launched last year, Bolthouse Farms has launched a new Twitter and Instagram effort, #freshflip, that enlists food artists and photographers to not only share photos of their beautiful fruits and veggies, but to reimagine junk food favorites with plant-based ingredients. The company, which was acquired by Campbell's in 2012, hinges its campaigns on the idea that seeing beautiful photos of fruits and vegetables can motivate people to eat healthier. ("Why should junk food get all the glory?") Five food artists will post their fruit-and-veggie creations through April 27. Check out some of their creations here. Feeling inspired? Share your own using the #freshflip hashtag.
