UAS Labs expands India office

As the demand for probiotics in India continues to grow rapidly, UAS Labs has announced plans to further invest in the Indian market.
UAS Labs has been active in India for several years with a solid business base and loyal customers. Recently, there has been a significant increase in interest amongst the top pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies in UAS Labs’ industry-leading probiotic products and services. To meet this increased demand, UAS Labs has established UAS Life Sciences Private Ltd., based in Hyderabad, with an experienced new management team.
 
“We are delighted to have officially established UAS Life Sciences Pvt Ltd in India,” said UAS Labs President and CEO Kevin Mehring. “It will operate as not only a hub for our growing India based business interests, but will also allow us to better serve our expanding Asian customer base. UAS looks forward to bringing more of our scientifically based probiotic formulations to this dynamic market.”
 
UAS Labs has furthered the investment by hiring Mr. Subramanya Shastry Kavuri to develop UAS Labs’ operations in India. Mr. Shastry received a graduate degree in biosciences from Osmania University and a post graduate degree in marketing from Annamalai University. He brings 28 years of international experience in sales and technical marketing to UAS Labs including several years focused on probiotics. Mr. Kavuri joins Mr. Balaram Poduri who has operated as UAS Labs’ vice president of operations in India for the last two years.

There is a high demand in the Indian market for a quality probiotic supplier. The market is rapidly expanding with a strong year over year growth.
