You’ve taken vitamin C to be healthy. But how about to be happy? According to recent research from the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, taking 500 mg of vitamin C twice daily for seven to ten days improved the mood of hospital patients by 34 percent. The findings support past research that associated low vitamin C concentrations with emotional problems.
