Senior Director of Grocery Misfits Market Thirteen years ago, Brandie Miller began working with a small West Coast Gelato company. She loved it, and since then, her career has focused on food. After Gelato, she joined a small chain of family-owned stores and, over the next nine years, helped grow them into a 400+ location, public traded company. In 2019, she was awarded by Progressive Grocery Magazine a “Rising Star” Top Women In Grocery Award and shortly after named an “Industry Disruptor” by Supermarket News. It is also where she developed her passion for increasing accessibility to healthy and affordable food for everyone. Food insecurities affect more than 13.8 million households in the US, and the pandemic has made the divide even greater. Now at Misfits Market, as a Senior Director of Grocery, Brandie is able to help build a healthy, affordable, and accessible assortment delivered to all zip codes in the US. She lives to have fun, work with good people, and get affordable healthy food to all.

Judging the NEXTY Awards is no easy task, which is why New Hope Network's in-house team gets invaluable help from some of the industry's most-experienced professionals when it comes to the final round.
This year will be no different, thanks to a cadre of guest judges comprised of natural product retailers, sustainability advocates and experts in CPG product development, branding and more.
These seven guest judges are tasked with helping select one winner in each of the 19 categories judged during this year's awards. The winners are chosen from a total of 73 finalists, which in turn were whittled down from more than 500 nominated products during the first round of NEXTY judging.
The NEXTY Awards spotlight the best of the natural products industry and recognize brands taking the lead in terms of innovation, inspiration and integrity.
For each round of judging, the judges gather to discuss, sample and debate how each product best demonstrates these attributes. These debates can get lively—particularly when trying to select a winner.
