On Sept. 19, dozens of like-minded women mingled on the Baltimore Convention Center's outdoor terrace to connect and get to know one another. Retailers, distributors and press look forward to this annual event as a launch pad for future business opportunities and idea incubation.
The changemaker’s talk got wheels turning and dominated many conversations through the rest of the evening: a shining example of the impact of the Women in Naturals Networking event.
This year, the event put a spotlight on Chef Ann Cooper, a celebrated author, educator and advocate in the better-food-for-all children movement. In her enlightening speech, she urged the influential group to join her mission to get healthy, organic food in schools despite the low budget of $1.20 per meal per student.
