This is, hands down, my favorite new product at the show. The Original Cricket Bar from Chapul is a forward-thinking, boundary-pushing product using a super sustainable, low-water-usage protein source: dried insects ground into flour! With simple, paleo ingredients bound together with organic date paste, the bar's three kicky flavors all taste delicious. Booth: 5317 -Elisa Bosley, Editor-in-Chief of Delicious Living magazine
Mushroom Matrix grows, processes and packages all of the USDA organic mushrooms used to create unique targeted blends (such as this Beauty mix for skin, hair and nails) that are perfect for boosting a morning smoothie. Booth: 587 -Jessica Rubino, Deputy Editor, Digital and Beauty
Yes, you saw it here first. It's bread shaped like a football. End of story. Booth: 8621 -Connor Link, Senior Editor, NextAccelerator.com
It's rare that we see such a direct message in branding. It's even rarer that we see that direct message addressing a severe societal ill. Plus you now you have the "smelly cat" song from "Friends" in your head for the rest of the day. -Rick Polito, Senior Editor, Nutrition Business Journal
Windsor, Calif.-based Revive's kombucha has a lot going for it within an increasingly crowded market. The brand gets points for USDA Organic, non-GMO Project Verified and Fair Trade Certified labels and has a bottle exchange program that allows customers to return used bottles and collect a deposit, similar to craft beer growlers (which is exactly what Revive's kombucha vessels look like). Here at the show, they're putting their message of reusability into action at a booth that mimics a high-energy hipster bar where four taps dispense the company's yummy tea-and-coffee-tinged Kombucha into glass shot glasses. Yep that's right, no mini plastic cups here. With the amount of disposable containers being used at the show, Revive's alternative approach is inspiring and refreshing. Booth: 2827 -Emery Cowan, Digital and Social Media Manager
Talk about trend-merging! This spankin' new canister from The Republic of Tea combines of-the-moment matcha with super-popular crushed chia seeds. Dissolve a couple teaspoons into hot water and receive a burst of antioxidants and omega-3s. Herbaceous and grassy, I'll stir in a dollop of raw honey for added sweetness. The product gets extra credit for being USDA Organic Certified! Booth: 3938 -Jenna Blumenfeld, Senior Food Editor

After three days of scouting the show floor at Natural Products Expo West, our editors each chose one booth that stood out among the rest. Here's the list they came up with!
