If you’re looking for an exciting and interesting offering on the flavor front, then check out the ingredients of Mood33’s hemp-infused herbal teas. Think peach and yerba mate for joy; blueberries, reishi mushrooms and hops for wellbeing; lavender and chamomile for calm or grapefruit, hibiscus and lime for passion. Each 12 fl oz beverage contains 33 mg of full-spectrum hemp extract, natural flavors and 14 g of sugar.
With a cool cucumber taste, Upwell’s sparkling beverage contains zero calories, 0 g sugar and 20 mg broad-spectrum hemp extract. This means that in addition to CBD it also contains cannabinoids including CBG and CBN. Also available in grapefruit and lemon lime.
For consumers who don’t want to carry a can, Amari Botanicals is the way to go. Think CBD meets Emergen-C, it’s a beverage in a powder pack. Just add water to activate the blueberry-lemon flavored drink, which blends 10 mg of hemp-derived CBD with organic turmeric root extract, organic ashwagandha root and leaf extract and rhodiola rosea root extract. And to top it all off, it contains just 2 g of sugar.
A light, tangy and refreshing beverage is what Good Day serves up with its citrus sparking water. Made with real fruit juices and 15 mg hemp CBD, this 8 fl oz drink contains 6 g of sugar. Also available in “cold brew coffee with benefits” and chamomile herbal tea “with a little extra."
Although the packaging and sugar content of Boneyard’s sparkling beverage might make you think of Orange Crush, this all-natural beverage is surprisingly light in flavor with no aftertaste, unlike some of its counterparts. Made with 25 mg of CBD and 12 g of sugar, it’s also available in lemon ginger and king cola flavors.
Daydream’s blackberry chai sparkling water is a subtle-tasting infusion of hemp oil and adaptogens. A little bit sweet, a little bit musty, the 12 fl oz beverage is made with 10 mg hemp oil, 50 mg schisandra (to help boost energy and support occasional stress), 30 mg vitamin C, potassium-rich moringa and 50 mg ginseng. All of this with no sugar and just 5 calories per SKU. Also available in cucumber-lime and peach-ginger flavors.
Sati’s Berry Energy serves up a fruity flavor with grassy yerba mate undertones. Not surprising given that in addition to 23 mg of whole-plant CBD extract, the beverage also contains yerba mate leaf extract, organic guayausa leaf extract and guarana seed extract for a boost of caffeine. A 12 fl oz serving contains just 9 g of sugar. Also available in lemon lime for clarity and ginger to chill.

While there are still limitations around selling CBD beverages at retail, many companies are selling directly to consumers until the FDA clearly defines its policy around store sales of hemp-derived CBD food and beverages. With these limitations in mind, the global CBD beverage market value is expected to reach $11.28 million by 2025 according to MarketWatch. While many of the beverages on offer are similar in nature, key differences to look for in these drinks are hemp and sugar content.
