Fatworks is meeting demand for high-quality animal fats

Colorado-based Fatworks is on a mission to "bring back fat" with its product line of traditional animal cooking fats.

Beef tallow, leaf lard, chicken schmaltz, grass-fed ghee, duck fat—these are the cooking oils your grandma may have used and that chefs at high-end restaurants swear by. Fatworks launched in 2011, when its founders noticed consumers starting to embrace fat, calling themselves "the defenders of fat." With a focus on quality, Fatworks works with farmers to help use all parts of the animal and creates cooking and baking fats for consumers and food service.
