HowGood comprehensively maps the impacts of the CPG industry, assessing individual products on a scale from "degenerative" to "regenerative" using 127 unique sustainability attributes. We've assessed over 1 million food, health and beauty, and cleaning products to date. Most Regenerative Agriculture organizations focus on soils, ecosystems, and farmers; some focus on education and promotion. HowGood's databases and tools provide missing links that can accelerate the industry's transformation towards regenerative agriculture: 1. We help consumers identify the most regenerative products in the market. 2. We support retailers find and sell items produced with regenerative agriculture in their supply. 3. We empower manufacturers to design regenerative products, and to understand the financial performance of different regenerative agriculture-related claims in the marketplace. 4. We enable the whole industry to see the financial value of a move towards regeneration - our market performance index shows that the most regenerative products have higher margins and are outperforming their categories by as much as 170%. Ethan Soloviev - Chief Innovation Officer, HowGood

“PastureMap is ranching software that helps ranchers implement regenerative grazing practices, and tracks soil carbon and biodiversity data so they can get rewarded for climate friendly practices. We are building the information backbone of a regenerative meat industry.” Christine Su - CEO, PastureMap
“Regen Network gives anyone in the world access to open, scientifically valid information about the current state of our planet - be it a piece of farmland, a river, or an entire ecosystem - without having to rely on a centralized authority. We facilitate agreements between brands and farmers to help brands invest effectively in regenerative agriculture and provide transparency to their customers. With the proper incentives in place, the agricultural system could transform the planet.” Christian Shearer - Chief Operations Officer, Regen Network
“For over 70 years, Rodale Institute has been committed to growing the regenerative organic movement through rigorous research, farmer training, and consumer education. Widely considered the global leader of regenerative organic agriculture, Rodale Institute has built a world-class research model of long-term comparison trials that continue to make scientific advancements today. As regenerative organic farming grows throughout the world, Rodale Institute is looking forward to conducting new research across the country, assisting farmers to transition more acres to organic, and continuing to educate a new generation about the ways regenerative organic agriculture and the way we manage soil can impact their health, their family’s livelihood, and the planet”. Jeff Moyer - Executive Director, Rodale Institute
"Regenerative Agriculture has the power to solve humanity’s biggest problems of food and water insecurity and our greatest threat: climate change. We must figure out how to heal our dying planet while still feeding and clothing our population. Regenerative Agriculture is our only hope of doing that. It is the farmers and ranchers that are our last chance, because they are our ambassadors to the soil. This amazing global cadre of hardworking men and women need to be equipped with the ongoing resources to be successful. That’s what the Savory Institute endeavors to do, with over 40 field offices all around the world, called Savory Hubs, which are entrepreneurial centers of innovation that provide ongoing support in implementing Holistic Management principles in order to restore grasslands ecosystems, reverse desertification and regenerate the soil. Recently, the Savory Institute has developed a program called Land-to-Market to start sending the right signals through the marketplace. This verification program measures real outcomes on the land and connects those producers who are healing their landscapes with the buyers and brands that can take full advantage of their supply, impact data, and story.” Chris Kerston - Director of Market Engagement and Public Outreach, Savory Institute
The Soil Carbon Initiative represents the collective determination of a large group of NGOs, farmers, soil scientists, and leading companies in the food and textile industries on a verifiable standard for regenerative agriculture. The goal of the group was to accelerate adoption of regenerative agriculture in order to mitigate climate change and help farmers and ranchers achieve the dramatic economic benefits resulting from improved soil health. The verifiable standard looks only at specific outcomes related to those goals; it is agnostic as to practices as we believe that farmers and ranchers will, out of necessity, continuously discover new ways to economically enhance the productivity and profitability of their fields via soil carbon sequestration and biological enlivenment. The SCI standard is already guiding supply chains and governments, advancing the regenerative agricultural movement internationally. Tom Newmark - Co-Founder & Chairman, The Carbon Underground; Design Team Member, Soil Carbon Initiative

Regenerative agriculture is a system of farming principles and practices that increases biodiversity, enriches soils, improves watersheds and enhances ecosystem services. The goal is to capture carbon in soil and biomass, which actively addresses climate change. It also offers increased yields and greater health for the farming community.
While regenerative agriculture comes into play at the farm level, it takes a village to truly make an impact on a global scale. Many third-party organizations are playing a pivotal role, developing tools, networks and connections that fuel collaboration and the movement toward a more regenerative future. Check out these eight organizations leading the charge in the ever-growing regenerative agriculture movement.
