Trace Minerals Research Invites Industry Leaders To Serve On Research Advisory Board

OGDEN, UTAH, July 22, 2008 — Trace Minerals Research (TMR), a leading provider of mineral-based supplements for almost 40 years, announces the acceptance of Dr. Alexander G. Schauss, Ph.D., FACN, and Dr. Chris D. Meletis, N.D. today to serve as members of its recently established Scientific Research Advisory Board. The Advisory Board was established to keep TMR on the cusp of the most recent scientific research in the natural products industry.

Meletis served for seven years as the Chief Medical Officer and Dean of Naturopathic Medicine for the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Ore., and subsequently served as the NCNM's Senior Science Officer. TMR also invited scientist Jared Bowden to serve on the Advisory Board. Bowden, currently a teaching assistant and graduate student in Biochemistry at Montana State University, has worked over the last 10 years as a consultant, scientist, and quality assurance manager for the nutraceutical industry before returning to his academic pursuits. TMR also invited attorney John Rees to serve as legal counsel to the Advisory Board. The Advisory Board will be chaired by Ryan Fisher, General Manager of TMR who has over 15 years with the company.
