elete Supports Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation with H2V Coast to Coast Bicycle Race

OGDEN, UTAH (June 25, 2007)— elete Electrolyte Add-In™ is proud to be one of the sponsors of H2V: Coast to Coast, a nine-day, Trans-Canada bike race that begins September 14, 2007 at Halifax Harbour in Halifax, Canada and ends September 22 at Stanley Park in Vancouver. elete will be supplying the five-member H2V team with rip-packs and bottles of elete Add-In, a hydration- and performance-support electrolyte concentrate that contains no sugars or carbohydrates.

“With over 6,000 kilometers to ride across the grueling Canadian shield, we need a
performance supplement that can measure up. Having used elete Electrolyte Add-In™ for the majority of our training sessions, we know it has what it takes to prevent inhibitive cramping and bring us coast to coast. A new product in the Canadian marketplace, we thought it was only fitting to make our way across the country... together," said Matt Young, H2V Ride Captain.

“We are honored to be one of the product sponsors for H2V: Coast to Coast, which raises awareness of and funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF),” said Val Anderson of elete Electrolyte Add-In™. “We are honored that H2V selected elete Electrolyte Add-In™ as its electrolyte-replacement product for the nine-day trek. We encourage people to show their support for the H2V team or to make a contribution to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to find a cure for juvenile diabetes and put an end—once and for all—to the debilitating complications of this disease.”

H2V: Coast to Coast consists of Kyle Balagno, Matt Young, Willie Cromack, Keith Nicoll, and Richard Alm—five team riders who will cycle from Halifax to Vancouver along the Trans Canada highway through metropolitan areas, open prairies, and the unforgiving Rocky Mountains. The race covers 6,000 kilometers—coast to coast—in a history-making nine days. Riders will cycle 24 hours a day in three-hour shifts at an estimated speed of 30 km/hour. The goal of H2V is to raise $1,000,000 to benefit the JDRF.
