Juice company BluePrint debuted a new line of certified USDA organic kombucha drinks, now available at Whole Foods Market and local retailers in the New York tri-state area, as well as in Whole Foods Market Midwest-are stores starting in September. The drinks combine organic cold-pressed juices with the power of fermented tea, offering functional benefits, such as digestion and immunity.  Additionally, starting in August, the drinks will be available in Sprouts Farmers Market locations.

Nature’s Power Nutraceuticals (NP Nutra), a leading wholesale bulk supplier of premium grade botanical extracts and nutraceutical ingredients for functional foods, beverages and dietary supplements, offers three new products with a multitude of applications: Matcha Green Tea Powder (organic), Dragonfruit Freeze-dried Powder and Strawberry Freeze-dried Powder.

The Society for Ethnopharmacology conferred this year's Herbal Industry Leader Award on Ixoreal BioMed, the maker of KSM-66 Ashwagandha. The prestigious society of pharmacologists, ethnobotanists, phytochemists created this award to recognize “a company that has set an example of outstanding business practices or an organization that works to move the industry forward above and beyond normal business practices in the field of natural products".

Good Health, creator of crunchy snacks that make it easy to make better choices, launched two new savory snack varieties, including Veggie Pretzels and Gluten Free Pretzels. The new products each boast trending ingredients and feature Extra Goodness!—a proprietary nutrient blend offering the same vitamin equivalent found in veggies with 2.5 cups broccoli (25 percent vitamin A); one beet (10 percent vitamin C); five tomatoes (15 percent vitamin E); 7 cups spinach (20 percent vitamin B6) and two carrots (20 percent vitamin K) per serving.

Six new organic bread varieties from eureka! Organic Bread contain no artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or high fructose corn syrup, and are USDA Organic, Vegan Certified and most recently Non-GMO Project verified.

Bunge introduced Non-GMO Project verified milled corn ingredients and Non-GMO Project verified oils at the annual IFT show this week. Bunge also featured its broader collection of non-GMO products, including ancient grains, rice, gluten free breadings, and puffed and expanded snacks, all of which the company is pursuing Non-GMO Project Verification for.

Matcha lovers can now purchase a select line of My Matcha Life matcha teas at more than 700 The Vitamin Shoppe locations throughout the United States.
