Yonder Mountain String Band to Play Expo

While the Natural Products Expo might have always been a little bit "granola, " this year's Live Music Party band is going to make it a whole lot of "country."

Colorado-based Yonder Mountain String Band is set to take the stage at Natural Products Expo East Thursday, September 24 at 9:00pm in the Roxy Ballroom. The national-touring band will bring a whole new level of energy to expo, as their acoustic bluegrass sound will infiltrate Boston.

Originally scheduled to play was Australian singer Xavier Rudd. Due to unforseen circumstances, Rudd had to pass on his performance, leaving an opening for Yonder Mountain String Band.

"We are very excited to have Yonder Mountain String Band perform," said Pamela McCary, sponsorship coordinator for Expo East. "They are a local favorite, and are continuing to grow in popularity. We were very excited to book them on such short notice."

The concert is only open to registrants of Natural Products Expo East. To hear clips of the band, see pictures or videos, or join their community, go to their website here.
