Natural Products Expo West... Where Doing Business Just Comes Naturally

BOULDER, Colo. (Feb. 21, 2011) —The natural and organic products industry continues to grow and Natural Products Expo West/SupplyExpo (www.expowest.com, www.supplyexpo.com) is growing with it. This year’s event is expected to draw over 55,000 attendees to sunny Anaheim, California looking to discover the newest products and trends. The tradeshow will be held March 10-13, 2011 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

This year the show will have a greater emphasis on technology. Attendees can enhance their show experience by downloading the Expo West iPhone app from the App Store and by visiting newhope360.com the new premier website for the healthy lifestyle industry for full event coverage. Education sessions focusing on digital solutions will feature speakers from Google talking about reaching customers at the digital shelf, and Entrepreneur Magazine talking about advanced social media tactics. Other must-attend sessions will include Marketing to Moms and Keynote Bridget Brennan, author of the acclaimed book Why She Buys: the New Strategy for Reaching the World’s Most Powerful Consumers.

This year’s event will host over 2,000 exhibiting companies showcasing products in the categories of natural and specialty foods, organic, supplements, health and beauty, natural living and pet products. Attendees will have the chance to connect with nearly 500 first-time exhibitors as well as see innovative ideas from well known brands, like Seventh Generation, who will be collecting cardboard at Natural Products Expo West to upcycle in their new laundry detergent packaging.

In addition to thousands of new product launches, be on the lookout for health conscious celebrities. This year Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser will be in attendance as spokesperson for Turtle Mountain’s line of SoDelicious products.  Pivotal industry influencers attending the event include: Alex Bogusky, Creative Insurgent of the FearLess Cottage, Walter Robb, Co-CEO, Whole Foods Market and Gary Hirshberg, CE-Yo, Stonyfield Farm.
