Sourcing, storytelling and safe cosmetics advocacy reigned supreme at Expo West. But a commitment to transparency wasn't the only statement our favorite natural beauty brands made at the show. Companies successfully brought mass market and international beauty innovation to the natural space, satisfying a need for convenience and performance (biodegradable paper facial masks, anyone?). Contemporizing ancient beauty practices, such as aromatherapy and other uses for essential oils, also proved to be a strong trend. And let us not forget our most delicious beauty spotting, edible nail polish, mm, mm good.
